What if the world’s
only reigning superpower refused to acknowledge that its citizens had been the victims of an untold number of attacks by foreign
and domestic terrorists for the past 50 years? What if a country’s leaders
were so corrupt and arrogant that they didn’t alert its citizens of significant ongoing threats to their safety just
to prevent national industries from losing money, and other nations from viewing them as weak?
Sound scary? Well, welcome to the nightmare of the alternative universe
of the world’s only superpower.
In the 21st
century it’s common knowledge that most large nations struggle with homegrown rebels within their borders, as well foreign
terrorists. Generally, when terrorists strike, a country’s leaders acknowledge the attack and alert their countrymen
to the specific types of dangers posed by terrorists’ activities. This response of well-informed transparency shows
that concern for citizen safety trumps economics or public image. It also enables
citizens to assume a direct role in helping their government win the war against terrorism. The fictional country called the
“Alternative Universe of the Superpower” or “AUS,” deceives the world about the true causes of crashes,
explosions, epidemics, poisonings, and other national tragedies. Although its citizens are currently being targeted by well
funded, sophisticated, domestic, and multi-national groups, the AUS authorities throw up smokescreens and roadblocks in investigations
of possible terrorist attacks to perpetuate a hoax of strength and security. That
is until an attack so public, and so spectacular is carried out, that it finally can’t be covered up. That's
when Jihadist Agent, DOTR OO-FOE is activated!
